At Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, the Church Council is the guiding body that helps our congregation live out its mission. The Council provides leadership, oversight, and support for all church ministries and programs, ensuring that we serve our community with faith, love, and integrity.
Roles and Responsibilities The Church Council is responsible for:
Vision & Planning: Guiding the church’s mission and long-term goals. Financial Oversight: Approving budgets, monitoring finances, and ensuring responsible stewardship. Policy & Governance: Establishing church policies and ensuring compliance with our constitution and bylaws. Ministry Support: Collaborating with ministry teams to support programs, outreach, and community service. Pastoral Support: Working closely with the pastor to nurture spiritual growth and congregational health.
Members of the Council The Council is composed of dedicated members of our congregation who are elected to serve terms of leadership. Each member brings unique gifts and a heart for service.
Current Council Members: President: Ron Grewenow – Leads Council meetings and represents the congregation. Vice President: Jan Kelly – Supports the president and oversees committees. Secretary: Murt Bickett – Maintains meeting minutes and official records. Treasurer: Sallie Olson – Oversees financial matters and budgeting.

Meetings Council meetings are held monthly. These meetings are a chance to:
Review church activities and finances.

The Council welcomes congregation members to serve on committees or assist with church projects. Volunteering is a great way to share your talents, meet other members, and support the mission of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Opportunities include:
